9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cetnik Milos! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Milos throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Galiev. Milos scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Galiev feints and then cracks Milos's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Milos down. Milos keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Galiev tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Galiev bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Galiev fails with an attempt to clinch.
Milos checks a leg kick. Some bone on bone action there as Milos checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Galiev does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. Milos throws the left hand but Galiev avoids the punch easily. Milos looks to land a right hand but Galiev moved out of range. Galiev shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Milos napping and manages to drive through into side control! Galiev is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Milos knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Galiev thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Galiev swings around for an armbar but Milos sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Galiev's guard. Galiev looking for a guillotine here but Milos defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Milos is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Galiev is looking for a triangle but Milos pushes his legs off easily.

Milos works his way back into a safe position though. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

Galiev has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Milos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Vener Galiev is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Milos is looking to work some ground and pound but Galiev has wrist control. Cetnik Milos has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Milos missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
