Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between nuf nuf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodolfo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Onward to Victory as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. nuf is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, nuf nuf! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rodolfo Gracie! The judges for this bout are , and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. nuf is breathing heavily. Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but nuf is retaining full guard. Gracie slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Gracie is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt nuf will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. nuf is looking for a sweep. nuf trying to remain calm as Gracie controls from the top position. I looks like Gracie might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Gracie should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Gracie has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. nuf tries to improve position but can't. nuf being controlled for a moment.
Despite being in the dominant position, Rodolfo Gracie just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. nuf gets caught flat footed, as Gracie shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. nuf had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gracie defends it easily. Gracie is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. nuf looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
nuf is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. nuf throws his legs up looking for a submission but Gracie uses it to pass to side control.
nuf is looking to regain half guard here but Gracie keeps moving and retains side control. nuf is trying to escape the position but Gracie is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. nuf tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gracie has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for nuf! Gracie sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. nuf is desperately trying to improve his position but Gracie has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Gracie controlling from mount. nuf tries to improve his position but instead Gracie has taken his back! Gracie is hanging on to nuf's back as he tries to escape.
nuf is working hard here to advance position. Gracie is riding his opponent, not letting nuf buck him off. I really don't envy nuf right now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rodolfo Gracie dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
nuf doesn't succeed with the takedown and Gracie counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Gracie. nuf can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gracie controls the pace. nuf is looking for a triangle here but Gracie uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Gracie advances to full mount. nuf looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! What can nuf do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie has the hooks in. nuf is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gracie lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns nuf.
I would not like to be nuf right now.
You can see the frustration on nuf's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
