Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kayaki Chonin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Graham Polliver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chonin comes to the ring accompanied by Fedor Entrance Song. Graham Polliver has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Kayaki Chonin! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Graham Polliver! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Polliver forces Chonin back against the ropes and clinches. Chonin fails to pull guard.
Chonin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Polliver smiles and moves away.
Polliver checks the leg kick. Chonin takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Polliver looks to land a combination but Chonin avoids it well. Chonin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Chonin working the ground and pound but Polliver is defending the strikes. Polliver gets back to half guard. Polliver regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Chonin. Chonin won't allow Polliver to sweep him here. Chonin missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Chonin thows a big elbow that misses. Polliver preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Chonin drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Polliver dives on top into guard. Polliver won't allow Chonin to get back to his feet.

Chonin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Chonin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Polliver circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kayaki Chonin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chonin is breathing heavily. Chonin throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Chonin gets caught flat footed, as Polliver shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Chonin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Polliver is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Chonin looking to sweep here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Chonin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Polliver controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chonin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Polliver is trying to control the action in half guard but Chonin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Polliver postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Chonin to stand up. Polliver clinches. Chonin tries to pull guard but Polliver won't allow it.

Chonin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Chonin walks into a left hand. Polliver shoots in and bounces Chonin off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Polliver preventing the sweep. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Polliver gets to his feet. Chonin looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Chonin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Polliver sees it coming and avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chonin shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Polliver will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Chonin waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Polliver. Polliver instigates a clinch. Chonin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Polliver just stands there and leans against the ropes. Chonin tries to pull guard but Polliver holds him up against the ropes and eventually Chonin drops back down to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Polliver avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Polliver clobbers Chonin with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Polliver lands a slapping body shot.

Nice cross by Polliver. Polliver closes the distance and lands a one-two. Polliver scores with a one two! Chonin had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Polliver stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Polliver dips to his left and cracks Chonin with an uppercut!
Chonin is rocked! Chonin gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Oh Chonin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Polliver dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Polliver is looking to slow Chonin down with leg kicks. Chonin seems to have got his legs back now. Nice uppercut lands for Polliver. That snapped Chonin's head back.

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Chonin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Polliver holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Chonin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Polliver walks away with a smile on his face. Chonin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. A shot to de liver by Polliver. Beautiful body shot. Polliver chopping away at his opponent's legs.

A swing and a miss from Chonin. Polliver dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Polliver stuns Chonin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Chonin takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Polliver goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Polliver has taken the fight to the clinch.

Polliver cracks Chonin with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Chonin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Polliver controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Polliver trying to control the position from guard on top but Chonin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Polliver got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chonin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Polliver has managed to get both his arms back between Chonin's legs - danger averted. Chonin wants to get back to his feet but Polliver is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Polliver slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Chonin keeping moving, preventing Polliver from controlling successfully.

And that's the end of the fight! Graham Polliver comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Polliver has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
