Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Snatch Dat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bolo Yeung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dat comes into the arena with Bring The Pain blaring out of the sound system. Bolo Yeung has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Snatch Dat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bolo Yeung! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yeung tries to close the distance and clinch but Dat swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Yeung closes the distance and clinches up with Dat, looking for a takedown. Yeung pushes Dat against the cage but Dat circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Yeung fails with an attempt to clinch.
A jab lands there for Dat. A jab from Dat does it's job there. Yeung takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A lazy left from Dat finds it's target. Dat scores with a jab to the head.
Dat lands with an uppercut that bounces Yeung off the cage and back into rage. Left hook, right uppercut from Dat. Dat bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Yeung's head backwards. Dat misses with a double jab.
Dat is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Dat throws a combination. Yeung tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Bolo Yeung has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Yeung tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dat sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yeung somewhat. Dat throws a series of strikes that have Yeung backpedaling.
Yeung dives in and grabs Dat's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dat pushes down on Yeung's head and hops out. Snatch Dat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bolo Yeung. Yeung ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dat moves away. Dat lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dat. Dat connects with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yeung will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Yeung is trying desperately to land a takedown but Dat is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Yeung. Dat with a jab. Dat connects with a crisp jab. Yeung is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
No joy there for Dat, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Yeung tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dat swats him away and circles back towards the center. Yeung shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dat sprawls well. Dat wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Yeung gets slowly back to his feet. Yeung wants to clinch. Yeung takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Dat lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Dat is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Dat lands a lovely overhand right. Bolo Yeung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dat throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Yeung shoots in looking for a takedown. Dat tries to sprawl out of it but Yeung keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dat manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Yeung shoots in but Dat avoids the takedown attempt easily. Yeung looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dat keeps the fight on the outside. Dat is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Dat slips a straight right by Yeung. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Dat. Dat is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Dat's corner calls for a 1-2. Dat obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Dat tests Yeung's chin there with a solid looking shot. Yeung tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A nice combination there by Dat.
Yeung shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dat napping and manages to drive through into side control! Yeung swings around for an armbar but Dat sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Yeung's guard. Dat pushes down on Yeung's leg and manages to get into half guard. Dat slips a nice elbow through Yeung's hands, connecting with Yeung's forehead. Dat looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Yeung with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dat is looking to take a break and control but Yeung is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dat working the head and body with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yeung looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Dat slips a nice elbow through Yeung's hands, connecting with Yeung's forehead. Dat is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Yeung taking some punishment here, with Dat in his half guard. Yeung is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dat scores with a couple of nice shots. Dat is working for a submission of some sort.
Dat is nestled in close to Yeung, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Dat working over Yeung with some ground and pound. Yeung looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Dat drops an elbow to the side of Yeung's head. Yeung looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dat lands a nice short elbow. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Dat scoring with strikes to the body and head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dat lands with a punch from half guard. Yeung looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Dat is trying to work for a kimura but Yeung is defending well.
Dat in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Yeung tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Dat!
