Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Dragon is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bruce Steel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Dragon! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Steel throws a strike aimed at the side of Dragon's head but Dragon avoids it well. Sloppy strikes there by Steel. Steel postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Steel tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Steel misses with the ground and pound. Steel with the ground and pound but Dragon regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Still in half guard, Steel seems content to control. Dragon is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Steel changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dragon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Steel tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Steel in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. The ground and pound from Steel seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Dragon bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Bruce Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice takedown defense from Dragon. No joy for Steel on that attempt. Dragon stuffs the takedown attempt from Steel. Steel gets slowly back to his feet. Dragon is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Steel. Steel scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Steel is looking to advance position but Dragon won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steel trying to control the action but Dragon is working from the bottom. Dragon is looking to escape. Steel works his foot free and advances to mount. Dragon blocking the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Dragon because Steel loaded up on that one. Dragon trying desperately to get to his feet.
Steel scoring with strikes but Dragon is staying in there. Steel fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
A nice elbow there by Steel. Steel cracks Dragon with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Dragon is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Steel throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Dragon because Steel loaded up on that one. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steel looking to secure an arm triangle but Dragon defends it well. Steel is breathing heavily. Steel looking to control but Dragon is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Dragon is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Steel dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Steel is looking to clinch but Dragon is avoiding it.
Steel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dragon did well to prevent Steel getting side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Steel sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dragon defending well though. Steel prevents Dragon from standing back up.
Steel wants to take a breather but Dragon is having none of it. Dragon looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dragon is not content to let Steel control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Steel seems to be looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Dragon looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Steel showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dragon.
Steel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dragon's waist but Dragon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Steel off to one side. Dragon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Steel. Dragon is breathing heavily. Steel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Steel thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Steel can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dragon is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel with shots to the head and body - Dragon looks very uncomfortable down there. Steel thowing shots but they're missing. Steel sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Dragon trying desperately to get to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steel thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Dragon takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Steel with the ground and pound from mount. Steel throws some wild stikes that Dragon manages to avoid easily.
Steel throwing strikes but Dragon bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top. Dragon preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dragon is looking to stand up but Steel isn't so interested in that idea. Dragon kicks Steel off and gets to his feet. Dragon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Steel throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Steel working the ground and pound effectively.
Steel throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Steel postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dragon looks a forlorn figure.
Steel throwing strikes but Dragon uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Steel lands a nice short elbow. Steel is nestled in close to Dragon, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Steel is trying to control the action in half guard but Dragon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Steel with the ground and pound but Dragon uses the opportunity to regain guard. Steel is looking to work some ground and pound but Dragon has wrist control. Steel lands a couple of elbows. Dragon wants to stand and escape but Steel is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel scoring with some ground and pound. Dragon wants to stand up but Steel is controlling him. Steel lands a couple of elbows. Steel postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Steel is in close to Dragon's body, working some short punches and elbows. Jack Dragon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steel stops Dragon from standing up. Steel working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Steel trying to control but Dragon is working from the bottom. Steel wants to pass the guard but Dragon is keeping the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Bruce Steel showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Steel, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
