Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
barker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Doe defending well as barker loads up on a big left hand.
barker shoots in and bounces Doe off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Doe is looking for a triangle but barker pushes his legs off easily.
Doe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
barker works his way to full guard. Good work.
barker is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Doe prevents barker from getting back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Doe has picked barker up - he's going for a ride! Doe dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Doe drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
barker is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Doe won't allow barker to sweep him here.

barker pushes Doe off and scrambles back to his feet.

and Doe counters with a shoot takedown. barker fights it but they end up in guard.

barker is looking to stand back up but Doe counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by barker.
Doe tries to stand but his hand is stuck under barker.

barker kicks off Doe and gets to his feet.
barker slips under a jab.
barker takes a swing at Doe's ribcage but misses.
barker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Doe paws at him with a jab and circles away.
barker throws a body kick the misses
and Doe counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A nice leg kick lands there from Doe.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
barker misses with a head kick.
A head kick misses from barker.
barker shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. barker showed some decent athleticism there.
Doe tries to get to full guard but barker has control of the leg.
barker throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Doe is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but barker pulls his head out easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that lee barker will probably get the nod.

Doe with a lazy takedown attempt
and barker counters with a nice double leg into side control. Doe won't be happy with that.
barker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
barker lands an elbow.
barker scores with punches from side control.
barker takes a little break here. Doe wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Doe is not content to let barker control the position.
barker stands up.
Doe takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

barker goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Nice takedown defense from Doe. No joy for barker on that attempt.
barker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Doe counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Doe.

barker pushes Doe off and gets back to his feet.

and Doe counters with a shoot takedown. barker fights it but they end up in guard.

barker has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
barker can't keep his opponent in guard - Doe advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
barker pushes Doe off looking to stand but Doe dives back in and keeps control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
barker tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
barker makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Doe ducks under a wild hook from barker.

and Doe counters with a single leg into guard. barker didn't expect that.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
barker wriggles free and stands up.
barker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to lee barker.
I think barker has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
