Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Holt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Stettin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stettin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Weapon They Fear. Charlie Holt has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Charlie Holt! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Patrick Stettin! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holt takes one on the button. Crunch! Stettin slams his shin into Holt's torso. Stettin lands a slapping body shot.
Holt is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Holt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stettin tries to avoid it but Holt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stettin to the ground. Stettin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Stettin knocks Holt to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Holt is rocked!
It looks like Charlie Holt has been cut. Stettin taking a breather here. Oh Holt is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Stettin tries to score with some ground and pound. Holt controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Holt seems to have got his legs back now. Stettin wants to control but Holt is keeping him busy. Stettin takes a little break here. Holt wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Stettin tries to advance to mount but can't. Holt avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Stettin. Stettin controlling from side mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Holt defending against the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stettin sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Holt is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Stettin lands a jab to Holt's midsection. Stettin displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stettin shoots in and bounces Holt off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Stettin looking to pass the guard. Holt keeping moving, preventing Stettin from controlling successfully. Stettin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Holt swivels though and keeps the full guard. Holt on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Holt tries to get out of the position. Holt tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stettin wants to pass the guard but Holt is keeping the position. Stettin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Stettin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Charlie Holt's cut is getting worse. Stettin gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Holt to score an easy takedown into full guard. Stettin wants to get back to his feet but Holt is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Holt lands a couple of elbows. Stettin wants to stand up but Holt is controlling him. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stettin working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Holt. Holt with a nice head shot there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stettin working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Holt. Holt trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Holt won't allow Stettin to get back to his feet. Holt thows a big elbow that misses. Holt working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Holt is looking to work some ground and pound but Stettin has wrist control. Holt with a flurry of punches that miss. Stettin uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Stettin digs a good hook to Holt's body.
A jab from Stettin does it's job there. Stettin throws a nice inside leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Holt has his takedown stuffed and Stettin counters with a low kick, right behind Holt 's knee. Stettin scores with a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stettin throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Holt.
Charlie Holt's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Stettin stalks Holt and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Holt's face. Holt staggers backwards, shaken. Stettin lands a jab to the head.
Jeez, Charlie Holt's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Stettin lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Holt falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Patrick Stettin! Patrick Stettin retains his super heavyweight title!
