The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Silva throws a right and a left that Digger avoids nicely.
Silva scores with a nice strike.
Silva scores with a shot to the body.
Digger shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense.

Digger closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Digger lands in his opponent's guard.
Silva wants to improve his position but instead Digger has moved into half guard.
Digger perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Digger is just content to waste time from the top position. Silva takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Digger looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Digger persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.

Silva drops Digger with a beautiful combination! Digger stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Silva is looking for the KO!

Digger tries to get into range but Silva steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Digger! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Silva scores the big KO victory!
