Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fedor Kiely!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stefan Struve!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiely clinches up with Struve and pushes him back against the cage.
Struve avoids a wild elbow strike from Kiely.
Kiely looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Kiely pushes off an throws an elbow but Struve leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Struve is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kiely gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Kiely breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kiely throws a right hand that Struve ducks under and follows up with a left that Struve also avoids with ease.
Kiely throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Struve.
Kiely clinches up against the cage.
Kiely throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Kiely lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Stefan Struve has been cut.
Kiely gets through Struve's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Kiely breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kiely misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Struve feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Struve has gone for a leg lock! Kiely slips out almost immediately though and dives into Struve's guard.
Kiely won't allow Struve to sweep him here.

Struve has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kiely is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Struve.
Struve is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Struve looks gassed!
Kiely has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Struve fails with a takedown attempt.

Kiely fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Struve, pushing him back against the cage.

Kiely displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Struve.

Kiely moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Nice uppercut lands for Kiely. That snapped Struve's head back.

Kiely lands an elbow that stopped Struve in his tracks for a moment.

Kiely connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Struve's hands.

Struve throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kiely's waist but Kiely gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Struve off to one side.

Fedor Kiely is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kiely swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Struve fails with a takedown attempt.

Kiely moves into the clinch successfully.

Struve is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kiely comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Kiely lands an elbow that stopped Struve in his tracks for a moment.
Kiely's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kiely jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
A right-left combo lands from Kiely.
Kiely throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Struve's head.
Kiely throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

No joy there for Kiely, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Stefan Struve's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Struve is still on wobbly legs! Can Kiely finish him?
Kiely breaks the clinch.
Struve seems to have recovered his senses.
Kiely tries a head kick but it misses.
Struve shoots in but no luck this time.
Kiely is working the combinations to good effect here.
Struve shoots for a double leg takedown but Kiely sprawls well. He's pushed Struve's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
