Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave The King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edelvan Morgado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edelvan Morgado will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dave The King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Edelvan Morgado! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The King shoots in for a takedown but Morgado shows good takedown defense. Morgado gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and The King counters with a single leg into guard. Morgado didn't expect that. The King not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Morgado bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in The King's guard. Morgado trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The King pulls Morgado in close to prevent any damage. The King is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Morgado looks gassed! Still in half guard, The King seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. The King uses his free foot to push down on Morgado's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Morgado. The King is landing with some decent strikes but Morgado is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. The King trying to control but he's not successful this time. The King with a couple of short strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The King postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Morgado looks a forlorn figure.
The King tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The King trying to control but he's not successful this time. Morgado really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The King is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Morgado can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The King sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Dave The King just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Morgado tries to clinch but fails miserably and The King counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Morgado is rocked! The King loads up on a big left hand. Morgado felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - The King looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Morgado can't hide his disappointment, as The King celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dave The King!
