The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mulqvist.
Gracie throws a low kick, looking for Mulqvist's leg but Mulqvist calmly moves out of range.
Gracie slips under a jab from Mulqvist.
Gracie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mulqvist misses with a wild combination.
Gracie looks for the body kick but Mulqvist saw that one coming.
Mulqvist dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Mulqvist fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gracie sprawls well initially but Mulqvist persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gracie.
Mulqvist takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Mulqvist fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Mulqvist shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gracie as he avoids it easily.
Gracie goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Gracie blocks a jab.
Mulqvist lands a slapping body shot.
Mulqvist lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Gracie pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Mulqvist moves out of range of the strikes.
Mulqvist with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gracie to score with a decent uppercut.
Mulqvist catches Gracie with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Gracie throws the kick towards the body but Mulqvist avoids it.

Gracie is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Mauricio Gracie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Mulqvist wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Gracie walks forward, straight into a front kick from Mulqvist.

Look low, kick high! Mulqvist uses the oldest trick in the book to send Gracie tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Mulqvist is absolutely delighted - when Gracie wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
