Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thor Helsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lylan Mitchikin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Helsson comes to the cage accompanied by Die Motherfucker Die. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Thor Helsson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lylan Mitchikin! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Helsson has a takedown stuffed. Excellent takedown into side control there by Helsson. Mitchikin is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Mitchikin explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Helsson looks for a takedown but Mitchikin sprawls well. Helsson is looking to clinch but Mitchikin is avoiding it.
Helsson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Mitchikin tries to pull guard but Helsson won't allow it.
Mitchikin on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
A frustrated look appears on Mitchikin's face as he tries to break the clinch. Mitchikin lands a left hand that snaps the head of Helsson backwards. Mitchikin tries to pull guard but Helsson holds him up against the cage and eventually Mitchikin drops back down to his feet.
Mitchikin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Helsson tries to clinch but Mitchikin moves out of range. Helsson shoots for a double leg takedown but Mitchikin sprawls well. He's pushed Helsson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thor Helsson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Helsson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mitchikin to score an easy takedown into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mitchikin is looking to stand up but Helsson won't let him. Mitchikin postures up in Helsson's guard and throws a big left but Helsson blocks it. Helsson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Mitchikin trying to control the position from guard on top but Helsson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Helsson wants to get back to his feet but Mitchikin is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Helsson wants to sweep here but Mitchikin controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Mitchikin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Helsson is looking to stand up but Mitchikin isn't so interested in that idea. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mitchikin showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Helsson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mitchikin is aware though and is defending well. Helsson is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Helsson looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Mitchikin passes into half guard.
Mitchikin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Helsson sees it coming and defends easily. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mitchikin in particular looking to stall. Mitchikin drops an elbow to the side of Helsson's head. Mitchikin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Helsson manages to get to full guard.
Helsson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mitchikin controlling from the top position. Mitchikin gets to his feet. Helsson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Helsson misses with a takedown attempt and Mitchikin counters with a right hand to the body. Mitchikin looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Helsson! Mitchikin sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Mitchikin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Helsson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Helsson is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lylan Mitchikin dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Helsson tries for a takedown but Mitchikin circles away easily and Mitchikin moves into the clinch. Mitchikin blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Mitchikin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

It looks like Lylan Mitchikin has been cut. Helsson misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mitchikin.
Helsson lands a good knee to the midsection. Mitchikin won't want to take too many of those. Helsson connects with a knee to the head.
Helsson connects with a nasty looking knee right to Mitchikin's face.
Mitchikin blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Mitchikin lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Helsson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Mitchikin blocks it with crossed arms. Mitchikin manages to break the clinch.
Mitchikin misses with a low kick. Helsson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mitchikin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mitchikin stands up from Helsson's guard - Mitchikin perhaps looking for a knockout. Nice sprawl there from Mitchikin as Helsson shoots in.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mitchikin gets in close and instigates a clinch. Mitchikin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Helsson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Helsson tries to land knees in the clinch but Mitchikin avoids the damage to the body. Mitchikin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mitchikin throws a nice inside leg kick. Helsson swats away the attempt to clinch by Mitchikin. Mitchikin shoots in and bounces Helsson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Helsson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mitchikin's guard. Mitchikin looking for a guillotine here but Helsson defends easily.
Helsson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Helsson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Helsson wants to stand but Mitchikin has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Mitchikin wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Helsson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Mitchikin working a defensive guard here.
Helsson works a leg free and moves into half guard. Helsson tries to pass to full mount but Mitchikin defends it.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Helsson lands a nice short elbow. Mitchikin on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Helsson winds up and cracks Mitchikin with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Helsson slips a nice elbow through Mitchikin's hands, connecting with Mitchikin's forehead.

Helsson decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Mitchikin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mitchikin lands in his opponent's guard. Helsson keeping moving, preventing Mitchikin from controlling successfully. Helsson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mitchikin is aware though and is defending well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mitchikin is stalling in the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Lylan Mitchikin will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Lylan Mitchikin's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Mitchikin misses with a takedown attempt - Helsson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mitchikin looks for a takedown but Helsson sprawls well. Mitchikin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Helsson avoids it really well and circles away. Thor Helsson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lylan Mitchikin. Mitchikin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Helsson. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Helsson wants to clinch but Mitchikin slips to the side and Mitchikin counters with a takedown into side control. Helsson manages to get back to half guard. Helsson works his way to full guard. Good work. Mitchikin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Helsson is keeping the position for now. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Mitchikin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Helsson wants to sweep but no luck. Mitchikin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Helsson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mitchikin has managed to get both his arms back between Helsson's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mitchikin decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Helsson closes the distance looking to clinch and Mitchikin counters by clinching up. Mitchikin managing to block the knees to the body from Helsson.

Mitchikin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Helsson walks away with a smile on his face. Mitchikin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Mitchikin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Helsson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Helsson wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Helsson is looking to regain half guard here but Mitchikin keeps moving and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mitchikin just content to control the position. Lylan Mitchikin has got the better of the ground game so far. Mitchikin cracks Helsson with a big right hand but Helsson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Mitchikin stands up and beckons Helsson to his feet. Helsson clinches but Mitchikin breaks the clinch and Mitchikin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Helsson won't be happy with that. Helsson prevents Mitchikin from improving position. Helsson is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mitchikin looks up at the clock and then as Helsson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mitchikin smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Mitchikin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Helsson keeps working. Helsson manages to get back to half guard. Mitchikin decides to stand and escape the position. A punch combination from Mitchikin misses. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mitchikin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Helsson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Thor Helsson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lylan Mitchikin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Helsson is looking for a triangle but Mitchikin pushes his legs off easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Lylan Mitchikin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Mitchikin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
