Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cook displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from ruffy.
Cook rushes ruffy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Cook has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed ruffy clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
ruffy avoids the strikes from Cook.
ruffy turns into Cook and is now in his guard.
ruffy pushes down on Cook's leg and manages to get into half guard.
ruffy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cook does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
ruffy moves nicely into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

ruffy is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cook can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
ruffy has control of Cook's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Cook regains control of the situation pretty easily.
ruffy is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Cook is surviving well by controlling ruffy's body position as best he can.
Cook tries to lock up and control but ruffy gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

ruffy is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Cook has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Cook!
Cook stands up from ruffy's guard - Cook perhaps looking for a knockout.
Cook drives through and clinches with ruffy against the cage.
Cook gets underhooks to prevent ruffy's takedown attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
ruffy has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Cook off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

That was a close round but I would say that damien ruffy will probably get the nod.
