Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mirco Maledictus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spider Sylvia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maledictus throws a series of punches but Sylvia avoids them all with ease.
Maledictus gets caught flat footed, as Sylvia shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Sylvia trying to control the position from guard on top but Maledictus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Sylvia shoots in looking for a takedown. Maledictus tries to sprawl out of it but Sylvia keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Maledictus manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Maledictus rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sylvia moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Sylvia closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Maledictus to the mat! Maledictus manages to get full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sylvia is keen to just control but Maledictus is a slippery customer.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maledictus tries to kick Sylvia off in order to stand up. Sylvia Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Maledictus is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Let's hope that Sylvia has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Sylvia postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Maledictus looks a forlorn figure.

Maledictus's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mirco Maledictus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spider Sylvia.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maledictus stands up and waves to Sylvia to follow him.

Maledictus goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Mirco Maledictus will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Maledictus is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Sylvia is controlling him well.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mirco Maledictus.
I think Maledictus has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
