Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Daemon Hubert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petir Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hubert comes to the cage accompanied by Break You by LoG. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov moves in looking to clinch but Hubert pushes him off.
Petrov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Hubert is looking to escape.
Hubert trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Hubert really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Petrov trying to mount his opponent but Hubert defends it.
Hubert pushes Petrov off looking to stand but Petrov dives back in and keeps control.

and Petrov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Petrov decides to stand up.
Petrov looks for the body kick but Hubert saw that one coming.
Petrov looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Hubert closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Petrov did well to prevent Hubert getting side control.

Hubert tries to stand but Petrov is controlling from the bottom.

Hubert knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Petrov on the ground.

Petrov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hubert's guard.
Petrov wants to pass the guard but Hubert is keeping the position.

Petrov won't allow Hubert to get back to his feet.
Petrov tries to free his leg and advance position but Hubert is retaining full guard.
Petrov's corner is telling him to maintain position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Petrov counters with a takedown into side control.
Petrov tries to move to full mount but Hubert actually manages to regain half guard.

Petrov is trying to control. Hubert wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Hubert has hold of Petrov's hands but Petrov slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Petrov is working for a kimura but Hubert is defending it quite comfortably.
Hubert wants to get back to his feet.

Hubert has one foot on Petrov's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Petrov counters with a single leg into guard. Hubert didn't expect that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daemon Hubert. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Petrov stops Hubert from standing up.
Hubert pushes Petrov off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Petrov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Hubert wants to stand but Petrov is controlling the position.
Hubert has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Petrov off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Daemon Hubert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Petrov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Petrov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hubert does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Petrov lands with a punch from half guard.
Hubert pushes Petrov off looking to stand but Petrov dives back in and keeps control.

and Petrov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hubert won't be happy with that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hubert wants to get back to his feet.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Hubert wants to get back to his feet but Petrov is dominant here and he's now got Hubert's back!
Even with his hooks in, Petrov manages to miss with strikes from the back.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Petir Petrov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Hubert wants to stand and escape but Petrov is having none of it.

Petrov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hubert paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hubert is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Petrov has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Petrov prevents Hubert from escaping the position.
Petrov decides to stand back up.
Petrov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Petrov showed some decent athleticism there.
Hubert tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Petrov manages to move to mount!
Petrov with shots to the head and body - Hubert looks very uncomfortable down there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hubert throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Petir Petrov is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Petrov won't let Hubert get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Petir Petrov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Petrov winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
