Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pawelek Pawelek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Whitewas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Whitewas!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pawelek fails with the takedown.
Pawelek throws a series of punches but Whitewas moves out of range.

Pawelek goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Whitewas has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Pawelek but great work by Whitewas.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Whitewas wants to control the action but instead Pawelek gets a body lock and reverses into Whitewas's guard! Nice work!
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Whitewas holds on and takes a little breather.

Pawelek slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

and Pawelek counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Whitewas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Whitewas seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pawelek does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Pawelek has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Whitewas to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Pawelek is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Whitewas pulls down on the head and he's put Pawelek to sleep! This one is all over!
