Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mabuku Haluku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Gilpin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haluku's entrance music is beast and the harlot. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haluku lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Haluku shoots in and drives through. Gilpin sprawls well.
Haluku fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gilpin sprawls well initially but Haluku persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Haluku content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Haluku's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Gilpin scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Haluku manages to mount him!
A nice elbow there by Haluku.
Gilpin tries to hold on but Haluku pushes him away.
Gilpin is in a horrible position here. Haluku smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Gilpin tries to lock up and control but Haluku gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Gilpin is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Haluku has control of Gilpin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gilpin regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Gilpin tries to lock up and control but Haluku gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Gilpin tries to improve his position but Haluku has taken his back! Haluku has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Gilpin tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Haluku pushes Gilpin away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
