Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Norifumi Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leslie Chow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Norifumi Aldo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leslie Chow! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aldo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Chow, pushing him back against the cage. Aldo lands with a left to the head. Aldo jumps guard but Chow stands there with Aldo around his waist. Aldo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Come on Aldo - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Chow goes for a takedown attempt but Aldo pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Aldo fails with a takedown attempt. Aldo lands a nice hook to Chow's body. Chow takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Aldo shoots in for a takedown but Chow shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Norifumi Aldo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Aldo fails with the takedown. Chow stuffs the takedown attempt from Aldo. Aldo gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chow has a takedown stuffed. Nice sprawl there from Aldo as Chow shoots in. Crunch! Aldo slams his shin into Chow's torso. Chow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Aldo as he jumps to the side. Chow looks gassed! Chow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aldo tries to avoid it but Chow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aldo to the ground. Aldo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Aldo lands with a slapping head kick. Aldo lands a big head kick that sends Chow tumbling to the mat! Aldo takes a step backwards and waves Chow back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Chow is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Aldo misses with a takedown and Chow counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Aldo! Chow avoids the attempt from Aldo to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aldo is working to get back to half guard.
Chow swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Aldo is now in Chow's guard. A big mistake from Chow there, giving up the dominant position! Chow tries to land a sweep but no joy. Aldo trying to control the position from guard on top but Chow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chow looking for a sweep. Not yet Chow, not yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aldo controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Aldo wants to pass the guard but Chow is keeping the position. Chow had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Aldo defends it easily.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Chow tries to keep at a distance but Aldo has taken the fight into the clinch. Aldo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chow doesn't succeed with the takedown and Aldo counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Chow thinking.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Aldo scores with a one two! Chow had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Aldo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Aldo manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Aldo is adopting a defensive guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Aldo is trying to control the position but Chow postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Norifumi Aldo dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Aldo throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Aldo shoots in for a double leg but Chow sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Chow misses with a takedown and Aldo counters with a nice kick to the body. Norifumi Aldo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Aldo misses with a takedown attempt and Chow counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Aldo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Chow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aldo swivels though and keeps the full guard. Aldo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chow drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Aldo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Chow has Aldo in his guard. Chow has his foot on Aldo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Aldo works his way back into a safe position though. Chow looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Chow working for a triangle but Aldo defends it easily.
Chow bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Aldo's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chow won't allow Aldo to sweep him here. Aldo keeping full guard, as Chow tries to pass. Aldo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chow on the ground. Chow stopping the sweep attempt from Aldo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aldo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chow doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chow manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Aldo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Aldo trying to keep a closed guard but Chow is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Aldo rushes Chow and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Aldo has Chow pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Chow manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Norifumi Aldo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chow jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Aldo walks away with a smile on his face. Chow gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Chow keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Chow shoots for a takedown but Aldo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Aldo with a poor takedown and Chow counters with a shoot takedown. Aldo fights it but they end up in guard. Chow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aldo swivels though and keeps the full guard. Aldo throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leslie Chow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Nice body punch from Aldo. Chow fails with the takedown and Aldo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Aldo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Chow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Aldo as he jumps to the side. Aldo has closed the distance and engaged Chow in a clinch.
Aldo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Chow fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Aldo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Chow pulls his leg out and moves away.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. A right-left combo lands from Aldo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aldo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Chow counters with a single leg into guard. Aldo didn't expect that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Norifumi Aldo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Aldo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chow is one step ahead there. Chow slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Aldo tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Chow easily slips into full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aldo is wriggling around trying to escape.
Chow throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Aldo has his hands clasped together but Chow breaks the hold and Aldo is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Chow!
