Barker comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Little bit Counrty kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Alejandro Cabrera has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabrera tries to clinch there but Barker circles away.
Barker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cabrera dives in and grabs Barker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Barker pushes down on Cabrera's head and hops out.
Cabrera fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cabrera looks for a takedown but Barker sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alejandro Cabrera. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cabrera takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Barker with a jab.
Cabrera throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Alejandro Cabrera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cabrera misses with a double jab
and Cabrera takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Barker clinches.
Barker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cabrera wants to clinch
and Barker counters with a left and a right... And another left! Cabrera is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
