Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dracula Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johny Jones will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Jones connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hardy. Hardy circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Jones changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hardy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Jones is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hardy has escaped the position, nice work there.

Jones stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hardy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hardy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.

Hardy has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jones avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Jones is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Hardy to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hardy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hardy looks to land a left hand but Jones moved out of range nicely.
Jones wants to clinch up but Hardy keeps it at a distance.
Jones moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Hardy misses the shot to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hardy checks a leg kick.
Hardy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jones counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Jones lands a nice hook to Hardy's body. Hardy takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Jones goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hardy has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jones but great work by Hardy.

Hardy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
