Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Guy Blake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Keller! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keller gets a takedown into half guard. Blake is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Keller performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Blake is staying active underneath Keller, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Blake tries to get to full guard but Keller has control of the leg. Keller slips a nice elbow through Blake's hands, connecting with Blake's forehead. Keller not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Blake is staying active underneath Keller, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Keller is taking a breather. Blake says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Keller throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Keller winds up and cracks Blake with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Blake is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Keller scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blake is trying to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Keller thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Blake is trying to control but can't.
Keller has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Blake avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Keller. Keller throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Keller is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Blake is trying to maintain the position but Keller is very close to passing his half guard. Keller throwing shots but Blake is blocking nicely. Blake is looking to control Keller's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Blake avoid being mounted? Blake tries to get to full guard but Keller has control of the leg. That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Blake keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Keller shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Keller showed some decent athleticism there. Blake is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Keller scoring with strikes to the body and head. Keller drops an elbow to the side of Blake's head. Ground and pound from Keller. Blake trying to control here.
Keller wants to take a breather but Blake is having none of it. Blake kicks off Keller and gets to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blake drops his hands momentarily and Keller takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Guy Blake has been cut. Keller is looking to slow Blake down with leg kicks. Blake is breathing heavily. Keller shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Blake has hold of Keller's hands but Keller slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Blake wants to get back to full guard. Blake is refusing to be controlled, as Keller sits in half guard. Keller lands with a punch from half guard. Keller landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Keller trying to pass the guard but Blake defending well. Blake is trying to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Keller works his way into side control. Keller working the head with strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Blake on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Keller lands a decent elbow from side control. Blake tries to bench press Keller off him but Keller keeps the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Keller lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Keller cracks Blake with an elbow. That is naaassty. Blake on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Keller lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Blake down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Keller dominated that round. The cut man is working on Guy Blake's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Blake circles away from the clinch attempt.
Keller darts in and clinches Blake up against the cage. Blake tries to break the clinch but Keller is controlling the position. Keller's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Keller moves into range and connects with a jab. Keller fails with an attempt to clinch.
Blake tries for a takedown but Keller circles away easily and Keller counters with a single leg into guard. Blake didn't expect that. Blake keeping moving, preventing Keller from controlling successfully. Keller works over Blake with some ground and pound from guard. Keller stopping the sweep attempt from Blake. Keller lands a couple of decent looking shots. Keller landing with the ground and pound. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Keller postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Keller throwing strikes from guard but Blake blocks nicely. Keller is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Keller working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Blake's head. Blake bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Keller's guard. Keller pulls Blake in close to prevent any damage. Blake's corner is telling him to maintain position. Keller pulls Blake in to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blake looking to sit in guard and control but Keller gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Keller working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Blake's head. Keller cracks Blake with a solid left hand. Keller postures up.
Keller lands a couple of digs. Keller trying to control but Blake is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Keller postures up.
Keller throws and elbow that misses. Blake uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Keller's guard. Nice move by Blake! Blake wants to pass the guard but Keller is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keller is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Keller has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Blake is trying to keep an underhook but Keller manages to get the takedown into half guard. Keller tries to pass to full mount but Blake defends it. Blake trying to control but Keller postures up.
Keller wants to pass to mount but Blake is defending the position. Keller winds up and cracks Blake with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Blake works his way to full guard. Good work.

Keller is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Blake keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Keller perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Blake is trying to control but can't.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Keller shoots in and bounces Blake off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Blake wants to sweep but no luck. Blake wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Keller stands up over Blake, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Keller in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Keller works a leg free and moves into half guard. Keller is trying to control the action in half guard but Blake is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Blake wants to get back to full guard but Keller has mounted him! Chris Keller has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keller trying to control but Blake is having none of it. Keller scoring with strikes but Blake is staying in there. Keller throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Keller unloading with bombs! Blake avoids a series of strikes thrown by Keller.
Keller throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Keller prevents Blake from getting the reversal. Keller lands a big elbow. Keller lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Blake is desperately trying to improve his position but Keller has a good base and remains in mount. Keller cracks Blake with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blake is in a horrible position here. Keller smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Keller punishing his opponent with strikes. Blake tries to hold on but Keller postures up. Guy Blake has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Keller is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Blake can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Chris Keller is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Keller takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Keller throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Keller controlling from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Keller unloads with some shots from mount but Blake bucks and avoids them well.
Blake tries to hold on but Keller pushes him away. Keller scoring with strikes but Blake is staying in there. Blake gets back to half guard. Keller controlling the action here. Keller has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Blake is refusing to be controlled, as Keller sits in half guard. Blake looks like he's trying to stand up.
Keller winds up and cracks Blake with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Keller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Keller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
