Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ares Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kabir Mehra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mehra has chosen Nature as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Ares Summers has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ares Summers seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ares Summers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kabir Mehra! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mehra is looking to clinch. Summers closes the distance and clinches up with Mehra, looking for a takedown. Summers pushes Mehra against the cage but Mehra circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Mehra darts in and clinches Summers up against the cage. Mehra will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Summers up against the cage. Mehra stops a takedown attempt from Summers.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Kabir Mehra. Summers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mehra circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ares Summers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Summers darts in trying to clinch and Mehra counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mehra. Mehra dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

Kabir Mehra is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mehra doesn't manage to clinch there - Summers circles away.

Kabir Mehra showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Summers works a leg free and moves into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mehra is trying to stand.
Summers is looking to advance position but Mehra won't allow it. Summers seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mehra does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Summers is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Summers is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Mehra reverses the position - he's now on top in Summers's guard. Mehra really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Summers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mehra has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Summers is proving hard to escape from. Summers is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mehra is fighting to break Summers's control of his arms but Summers is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Summers with a lazy takedown attempt and Mehra counters by moving into the clinch. Summers has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mehra is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Summers fails to pull guard.

Mehra is pushing Summers up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Ares Summers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! Kabir Mehra comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Mehra winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
