Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Claude Bawls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Dos Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Mack the knife as his entrance music. Sam Dos Silva has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Claude Bawls's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva scores with a sloppy right hand. Bawls should have avoided that one.
Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Bawls bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Silva throws a right hand that Bawls ducks under and follows up with a left that Bawls also avoids with ease.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bawls tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bawls to the ground. Bawls escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Silva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Silva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bawls has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silva has managed to get both his arms back between Bawls's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Bawls working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Silva is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bawls is controlling him well.

Silva looks to land a right hand but Bawls moved out of range.
Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Bawls tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Silva is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Bawls lands a big head kick that sends Silva to the canvas! Bawls follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
