The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz lands an overhand right.
Spartacus tries to move into range but Diaz moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Diaz lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Spartacus tries to clinch but Diaz is having none of it.
Spartacus gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Spartacus misses with a knee strike.
Diaz lands a left hand that snaps the head of Spartacus backwards.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Diaz creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Spartacus takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Diaz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Spartacus looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Diaz.
Diaz is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Spartacus with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Diaz to score with a decent uppercut.
Diaz lands a glancing blow to the side of Spartacus's head.
Spartacus gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Diaz scores with a crisp jab that stopped Spartacus in his tracks.
Diaz cracks Spartacus with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Diaz swats away the attempt to clinch by Spartacus.
Diaz lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Spartacus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Diaz scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Diaz is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Diaz sizes up Spartacus with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Spartacus walks forward, straight into a front kick from Diaz.
Spartacus walks into a left hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Diaz lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Diaz lands with a kick to the temple. Spartacus shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Diaz lands a left and a right that send Spartacus crashing to the mat, dazed. Diaz thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Spartacus is rocked!
Diaz Rushes Spartacus and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Spartacus is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Diaz Piles on the pressure and Spartacus crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Caesar Diaz!
