Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Keller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bruce Richards! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Richards tries to keep at a distance but Keller has taken the fight into the clinch. Richards is looking to break free of the clinch but Keller has double underhooks. Keller breaks the clinch.
Richards closes the distance looking to clinch and Keller counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Richards is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Keller trying to control but Richards is working from the bottom. Richards keeping full guard, as Keller tries to pass. Richards wants to stand up but Keller is controlling him. Keller scoring with some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Richards is looking to stand up but Keller isn't so interested in that idea. Keller stands up over Richards, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Keller tries to free his leg and advance position but Richards is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Richards looking for a sweep. Not yet Richards, not yet. Keller lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Keller throws a strike but Richards rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Keller scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keller shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Richards's guard. Keller slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Keller lands a few punches from side control. Keller lands some shots froms side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Keller is putting a hurting on Richards here, landing some big shots from side control. Keller trying to control the position but Richards is working away. Keller throws a strike aimed at the side of Richards's head but Richards avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Richards is trying to get back to half guard. Richards takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Keller advances nicely into full mount. Keller lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Richards takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Keller putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Keller sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Richards looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Richards is in a horrible position here. Keller smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The referee warns Richards that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Richards takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Keller dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Keller moves into range and clinches up with Richards. Richards is trying to break the clinch but Keller has him pressed against the cage. Keller digs a right hand underneath Richards's ribcage. Richards let out a lung full of air as it connected. Richards manages to break the clinch.
Keller gets in close and instigates a clinch. Richards is trying to break the clinch but Keller is controlling him. Keller goes for a takedown in the clinch but Richards prevents it.
Keller lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Keller pushes Richards back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Keller has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Richards clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Keller punishes Richards with strikes from the back mount. Richards is trapped and Keller is scoring with shots to the head and body. Keller scores with strikes from the back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee is taking a good look at Richards as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Keller!

That's one minute gone in the round. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Keller's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Keller is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Keller has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Richards. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Keller.

Keller is putting a hurting on Richards here, landing some big shots from side control. Keller cracks Richards with an elbow. That is naaassty. Richards bucks up and tries to throw Keller off but instead Keller has got his back! Keller cracks Richards with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Richards from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Richards takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Keller lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
That's one minute gone in the round. Richards is taking damage to the body and head. Keller scores with punches to the body. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bruce Richards has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chris Keller is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Keller trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Richards doesn't escape. Keller has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Richards. Keller just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Keller is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Keller gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Keller gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Keller apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Keller closes the distance and pushes Richards back into the cage. Richards is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Richards breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Keller bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Keller remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Keller scores with punches from side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Keller in side control, just content to control the action for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Keller showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Keller, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
