The crowd seem to be enjoying Brown's choice of entrance music: Crookers-Knobbers. Daniel Brown looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Brown does no damage.
Brown looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Alves shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brown as he jumps to the side.
Alves fails to land the takedown.
Alves shoots in but Brown avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Alves. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Alves shoots in but no luck this time.
Brown throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Brown throws a sloppy head kick and Alves moves out of range easily.
Left hook, right uppercut from Brown.
Alves looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Alves shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brown as he jumps to the side.

Alves rushes Brown and presses him up against the cage.
Alves works on Brown's body with a couple of short punches.

Alves ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Alves no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Alves has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Brown doesn't defend quickly enough and Alves has managed to lock this one up! Can Brown escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Alves on a fantastic submission victory.
