Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Clay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clay comes to the cage accompanied by When I come around (Live). Jason Clay has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jason Clay! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Javier Xavier! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Xavier lands the left hand. Clay takes the fight into the clinch. Clay tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Xavier smiles and moves away.
Clay closes the distance and clinches up with Xavier, looking for a takedown. Clay pushes Xavier against the cage but Xavier circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Clay shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Xavier napping and manages to drive through into side control! Clay tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Clay tries to advance to mount but can't. Xavier is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Clay is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Xavier knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Clay tries for a kimura but Xavier is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Xavier pushes Clay away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Clay gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Clay tries to advance to mount but Xavier denies him. Xavier really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Clay. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Clay tries for a kimura but Xavier is defending well. Clay is breathing heavily. Clay fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Clay tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Clay has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Xavier avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Clay. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Xavier can do anything to dispel that myth. Clay looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Clay is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Xavier is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Xavier is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Clay takes a shot right to the bread basket. Xavier changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Xavier scores with a nice strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Xavier fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Clay looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Xavier scores with a hook to the body. Clay takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Xavier lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
A combination from Clay does no damage. Xavier smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Xavier with a hook. Clay on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Xavier scores with a nice strike. Xavier ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Clay takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Xavier lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Xavier. Clay takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Xavier's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Xavier duly obliges.
Clay is rocked!
It looks like Jason Clay has been cut. A big right followed by a crushing left from Xavier knocks Clay out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Javier Xavier! Javier Xavier is the new middleweight champion!
