The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gardner lands a jab to Andrews's midsection.
Gardner looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Gardner throws a hook to the side of Andrews's head but Andrews sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gardner throws a right and a left that Andrews avoids nicely.
Rich Gardner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gardner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Andrews circles away quickly and effectively.
Gardner throws the left hand but Andrews avoids the punch easily.
Andrews shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gardner is trying to defend but Andrews finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
