Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGriff fails with a takedown attempt.
McGriff closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McGriff lands in his opponent's guard.
hurd has his foot on McGriff's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McGriff works his way back into a safe position though.
McGriff is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

McGriff fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. hurd sprawls well initially but McGriff persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

McGriff working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of hurd's head.

McGriff drops back looking for a leg! hurd is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and hurd manages to kick McGriff off! McGriff jumps back into hurd's guard.
McGriff got a little sloppy there for a moment and hurd has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McGriff has managed to get both his arms back between hurd's legs - danger averted.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
McGriff tries to free his leg and advance position but hurd is retaining full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
McGriff feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lenny McGriff will probably get the nod.
