Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bravo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Johnny Bravo. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos throws a hook to the side of Bravo's head but Bravo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Some wild striking there from Bravo.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bravo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Johnny Bravo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Santos blocks a jab.
Santos needs to keep his hands up - Bravo had a free shot at his head there.

Oooh a lovely combination from Bravo sends Santos down but not out. Bravo dives into side control looking to finish.


Santos is rocked!


It looks like Marcus Santos has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Santos seems a little lost for a moment, as Bravo dominates the positioning.
Oh Santos is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Santos tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Bravo looking to control and managing it successfully.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bravo can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bravo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bravo moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Santos shoots in for a double leg but Bravo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Santos is looking to work some ground and pound but Bravo has wrist control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bravo moves in looking to clinch but Santos pushes him off.

Bravo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Santos.
Bravo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Johnny Bravo seems to be getting the better of the standup.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Santos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Santos counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bravo's guard now.

Bravo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Santos to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Santos throws and elbow that misses. Bravo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Santos's guard. Nice move by Bravo!
Santos is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Santos manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Bravo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Santos circles away quickly and effectively.

Santos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Santos tries to free his leg and advance position but Bravo is retaining full guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Santos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bravo's guard.

Bravo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Santos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Santos prevents Bravo from getting the reversal.

Marcus Santos showed his dominance in that final round.
