Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Night (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rumple Stiltzkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Night comes to the cage accompanied by Praise - Seven Dust. Stiltzkin has chosen Solitaire Unraveling as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Night! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rumple Stiltzkin! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stiltzkin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Night is wriggling around trying to escape.
Stiltzkin landing shots from mount. Night wants to control but Stiltzkin is having none of it. Stiltzkin connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Night holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Stiltzkin tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Stiltzkin has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Night's face.

Stiltzkin has a takedown stuffed. Stiltzkin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Night but Night pushes him off and we're back to square one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Night shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Stiltzkin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Night is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Night is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Stiltzkin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Night is working away from the top position though. Stiltzkin works his way to full guard. Good work. Stiltzkin tries to land a sweep but no joy. Night is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Night looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

A close second round but Rumple Stiltzkin will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Night misses with a takedown attempt and Stiltzkin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Night! Night slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Night is pressing down on Stiltzkin's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Night manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stiltzkin manages to get himself to full guard.

Stiltzkin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Night wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Stiltzkin can't do much from the bottom here. Night is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stiltzkin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Night has his takedown stuffed and Stiltzkin counters with a takedown into side control. Night is trying to get back to half guard. Night sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Night looking for submissions off his back. Night slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Night throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Stiltzkin escapes and throws Night's legs to the side, diving into side control! Night is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Stiltzkin's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but Frank Night did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Night tries for a takedown but Stiltzkin circles away easily and Stiltzkin counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Night's guard now.
