Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Whatever Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Haamelmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haamelmann has chosen Valley of kings - Saxon as his entrance music. Dirk Haamelmann is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Whatever Man! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dirk Haamelmann! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Haamelmann. Haamelmann throws a sloppy head kick and Man moves out of range easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Haamelmann. Man does a little dance to reset his feet. Haamelmann looks for a takedown but Man sprawls well. Haamelmann lands with a kick to the temple. Man shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Whatever Man has been cut. Haamelmann gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Haamelmann wants the takedown. Man is fighting it off but Haamelmann persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Man's guard against the cage. Man manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Haamelmann manages to get himself to full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Haamelmann can't keep his opponent in guard - Man advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Man is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Haamelmann defends it well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Haamelmann does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Haamelmann keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Man controlling the pace. Man is looking for a kimura here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Man wants to control but Haamelmann is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Man is really struggling to control Haamelmann but he's trying to hold on to the position. Man throwing shots but Haamelmann is blocking nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Haamelmann is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Whatever Man!
