Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Schneidmiller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rob Schneidmiller was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Fisher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rob Schneidmiller!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Fisher will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
No luck for Fisher with that takedown attempt.

Nice takedown defense from Schneidmiller. No joy for Fisher on that attempt.

I really don't envy Fisher right now.

Schneidmiller is trying to stick to Fisher's back but Fisher is turning into Schneidmiller. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Schneidmiller's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Fisher.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

and Schneidmiller counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fisher won't be happy with that.

Well Schneidmiller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
