Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chip Dawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cletus McMullet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dawson comes to the cage accompanied by Some Bodies Gonna Get It. Chip Dawson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawson slips a jab and a cross from McMullet.
McMullet cracks Dawson with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Chip Dawson has been cut.
McMullet looks to throw the jab but Dawson is out of range.
Dawson defending well as McMullet loads up on a big left hand.
McMullet throws a jab but it's blocked by Dawson.
McMullet throws a body punch but Dawson moves out of range.
Dawson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McMullet swivels and escapes.
McMullet throws a series of punches but Dawson moves out of range.
Dawson moves out of range as McMullet strikes.
McMullet misses the jab.
McMullet misses with a looping left.
McMullet throws a hook to the side of Dawson's head but Dawson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McMullet misses with a straight left.
Dawson throws a front kick aimed at McMullet's knee but McMullet avoids it well.
McMullet with a nice cross.
A slow jab from McMullet misses its intended target.
McMullet misses with a leg kick
and Dawson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
McMullet looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dawson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McMullet is trying to stand back up but Dawson is controlling him
Dawson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed McMullet's head.
McMullet really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dawson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dawson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Dawson with the ground and pound but McMullet uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Dawson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Dawson stands and steps away. McMullet gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Dawson tries to clinch up but McMullet circles away and keeps his distance.
McMullet lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dawson backs up against the cage.
Cletus McMullet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McMullet throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dawson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
McMullet will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dawson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McMullet's waist but McMullet gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dawson off to one side.
McMullet throws a leg kick but Dawson sees it coming and moves out of range.
Dawson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McMullet paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
McMullet pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Cletus McMullet is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McMullet scores with a nice right hand.
McMullet misses with a straight left.
McMullet stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chip Dawson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McMullet throws a nice looking combination but Dawson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Dawson is rocked!
McMullet throws the left hand but Dawson avoids the punch easily.
Oh Dawson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dawson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nice defenses there by Dawson.
Dawson seems to have got his legs back now.

Dawson shoots in but no luck this time.
McMullet throws an overhand right that drops Dawson like a sack of potatoes! McMullet dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
