Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thau Ching (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noel Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noel Jackson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thau Ching! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Noel Jackson! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ching misses with a kick to the body.
Jackson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ching sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jackson shoots for a takedown but Ching saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ching shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jackson napping and manages to drive through into side control! Ching tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Jackson tries to buck Ching off but Ching is having none of it. Jackson can't do much from the bottom here. Jackson tries to improve position but can't. Jackson is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Ching is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Jackson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jackson is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Ching wants to get back to his feet but Jackson is holding on tight.
Ching is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson is looking to improve his position but Ching isn't that keen on the idea. Ching breaks from Jackson's wrist control and lands an elbow. Ching trying to control but Jackson is having none of it. Jackson is desperately trying to improve his position but Ching has a good base and remains in mount. Ching trying to control but he's not successful this time. Jackson takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Ching can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jackson is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jackson really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Ching wants to control the pace but Jackson is squirming around nicely. Ching tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Ching putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Jackson tries to reverse the position but Ching maintains control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Jackson looks gassed! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Ching landing strikes from the mount. Jackson is looking to improve his position but Ching isn't that keen on the idea. Ching stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Ching misses with an attempted mid kick.
Jackson has his takedown stuffed and Ching counters with a nice uppercut. Thau Ching has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Noel Jackson. Ching bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson is trying to improve his position. Ching has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Jackson! Ching trying to control but Jackson is having none of it. Ching is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Ching knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackson on the ground. Ching can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jackson is looking to escape. Jackson gets back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thau Ching dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Jackson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ching! Jackson has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ching's face.
Jackson looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Ching tries to hold on but Jackson postures up. Ching can't escape the position.
Jackson cracks Ching with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jackson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ching to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ching shrugs it off. Ching tries to hold on but Jackson pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Ching tries to lock up and control but Jackson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Jackson with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Jackson is working for a guillotine from mount but Ching frees his head quite easily.
Jackson looking to secure an arm triangle but Ching defends it well. Jackson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ching can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ching keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Jackson is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Ching has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Ching! Jackson looking for subs off his back but Ching has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ching is trying to control the action in half guard but Jackson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Jackson works his way to full guard. Good work. Jackson working a defensive guard here.
Thau Ching overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jackson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ching is aware though and is defending well. Jackson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ching defends it easily. Jackson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ching defends well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson looking for a triangle here. Ching is fighting it but it looks tight! Jackson pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Ching is tapping out - this one is all over!
