Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harold Mcclintock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Slamfist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slamfist has chosen Eminence Front as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dirk Slamfist! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcclintock shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Slamfist manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Mcclintock landing with the ground and pound. Mcclintock looking to pass the guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Slamfist holds on and takes a little breather. Mcclintock controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Mcclintock's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Mcclintock tries to free his leg and advance position but Slamfist is retaining full guard. Slamfist trying to keep a closed guard but Mcclintock is proving a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mcclintock postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Slamfist keeping moving, preventing Mcclintock from controlling successfully. Slamfist pulls Mcclintock in close to prevent any damage. Mcclintock lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Mcclintock trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Slamfist throws a right and a left that Mcclintock avoids nicely. A combination from Mcclintock does no damage. Mcclintock tries for a takedown but Slamfist sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Mcclintock connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Slamfist stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Slamfist wants it to stay on the feet. Slamfist fails with the takedown and Mcclintock counters with a single leg into guard. Slamfist didn't expect that.

Mcclintock slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Mcclintock trying to control but Slamfist is working from the bottom. Slamfist utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Slamfist looking for a sweep. Not yet Slamfist, not yet. Slamfist is looking to stand up but Mcclintock isn't so interested in that idea.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mcclintock is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mcclintock thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Mcclintock is taking a breather. Slamfist says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Slamfist makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Slamfist. Slamfist is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mcclintock is controlling him.

Slamfist scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Mcclintock throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mcclintock fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Slamfist sprawls well initially but Mcclintock persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Slamfist trying to control here.

Mcclintock decides to stand up, so the ref orders Slamfist to his feet. Slamfist wants to clinch and Mcclintock decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Slamfist's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mcclintock trying to control but Slamfist is working from the bottom. Mcclintock wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Slamfist, who protects the arm well. Slamfist is looking for a sweep. Slamfist is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Mcclintock has just dragged him back down to the mat. Dirk Slamfist has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Slamfist prevents Mcclintock from moving into mount.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Mcclintock shoots in and bounces Slamfist off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Slamfist keeping moving, preventing Mcclintock from controlling successfully. Slamfist is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Mcclintock looking to sit in guard and control but Slamfist gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Mcclintock looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
And that's the end of the fight! Harold Mcclintock showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mcclintock, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
