The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grundy shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Romanovich is trying to defend but Grundy finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Grundy takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Romanovich wants to get back to his feet.
Romanovich really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grundy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
