Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rion Alm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pankration Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rion Alm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pankration Master! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alm lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Master shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Alm is trying to defend but Master finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Alm is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Master pulls his head out easily. Alm actively working from the bottom here. Alm is looking for a sweep. Master is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Alm is not content to let Master control the position. Alm is trying to maintain the position but Master is very close to passing his half guard. Master is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Alm doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Master. Alm has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Master is working away from the top position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Master looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Alm with a lazy takedown attempt and Master counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Alm punching from the bottom.
Alm makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Alm. Alm is breathing heavily. Master got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alm has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Master has managed to get both his arms back between Alm's legs - danger averted. Master really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alm. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Alm keeping full guard, as Master tries to pass. Master trying to control but Alm is working from the bottom. Master sitting in guard here, content to control. Master trying to control the position from guard on top but Alm is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Alm is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Master jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Alm looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Alm shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Master counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Alm really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Master looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Master sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Alm defending well though. Alm looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Alm keeping moving, preventing Master from controlling successfully. Alm is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Master defends well. Master is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alm has his foot on Master's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Master works his way back into a safe position though. Alm being controlled here, momentarily. Master trying to control the position from guard on top but Alm is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Alm working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Master doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Master manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pankration Master dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Alm stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Alm wants it to stay on the feet. Master scores a takedown into full mount! Alm bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Alm stands and throws Master's legs to the side, diving into side control. Alm lands a decent elbow from side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Alm thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Master wants to control but Alm postures up. Alm is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Master knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Alm tries for a kimura but Master is defending well. You can see the frustration on Master's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Alm working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Master is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Alm is trying to land an Americana. Master looks for a takedown but Alm sprawls well. Master fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Alm tries to clinch up but Master circles away and keeps his distance. Rion Alm is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Alm shoots and misses and Master counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Alm's guard now. Alm keeping moving, preventing Master from controlling successfully. Alm is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Master throws a big right hand that misses. Master is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Alm has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Master is looking to defend but Alm has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Master! Alm pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Master taps out and this one is all over!
