Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jhon Feltar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Udarchenko! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksandr Martynov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Feltar shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Udarchenko looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Feltar scoring with punches to the head and body. Feltar wants to control from the top but Udarchenko keeps moving. Feltar is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Feltar's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Feltar wants to stand but Udarchenko is controlling his posture from full guard. Feltar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Udarchenko swivels though and keeps the full guard. Feltar trying to control but Udarchenko is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Udarchenko gets caught flat footed, as Feltar shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Feltar drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Feltar jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Udarchenko can't keep his opponent in guard - Feltar advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Feltar perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Feltar missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Feltar is working for a submission of some sort.
Feltar stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Feltar trying to control from half guard but Udarchenko is working away. Feltar seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Feltar moves nicely into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jhon Feltar dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A head kick misses from Feltar. Feltar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Udarchenko's guard. Feltar trying to control the position from guard on top but Udarchenko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Feltar tries to stand but Udarchenko is controlling from the bottom. Udarchenko can't keep his opponent in guard - Feltar advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like Feltar is going to stand back up.

Feltar is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Udarchenko is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
