Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between andrew rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and quinton jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). rock kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is my god. jackson has chosen Indestructible as his entrance music. quinton jackson acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
rock throws a leg kick which misses jackson's front leg but catches the back leg as jackson tries to avoid it.
rock shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. rock showed some decent athleticism there.
rock is trying to control. jackson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
jackson has one foot on rock's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
rock shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has jackson pinned against the cage. jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! jackson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from rock - the referee stops the clock and jackson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says rock. jackson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

rock changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. jackson tries to avoid it but rock manages to keep hold of a leg and drag jackson to the ground. jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Horrible takedown by jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by rock which made him look bad.

rock jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as jackson walks away with a smile on his face. rock gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
quinton jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

jackson wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on rock's hips, looking to push off. But rock grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! jackson screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!
