Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pacanchik Chetkii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and vrach psixiatr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chetkii doesn't manage to clinch there - psixiatr circles away.
psixiatr swats away the attempt to clinch by Chetkii.

psixiatr darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

psixiatr is looking for a kimura here.
Chetkii is trying to defend against the ground and pound but psixiatr scores with a couple of nice shots.

psixiatr wants to work for an arm triangle but Chetkii is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chetkii looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Chetkii might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

psixiatr trying to control the action but Chetkii is working from the bottom.
psixiatr is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Chetkii is trying to stand up here but psixiatr is controlling him well.
Chetkii is breathing heavily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

psixiatr is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chetkii is just riding it out for now. psixiatr eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Chetkii trying to get back to full guard but psixiatr takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Chetkii is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! psixiatr has taken his back!

I would not like to be Chetkii right now.

Chetkii is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if psixiatr gets his way!
Chetkii is trying to get back to his feet but psixiatr has full control of the position and if anything, Chetkii has just worked his way into a worse spot.

psixiatr is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Chetkii has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but psixiatr has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Chetkii taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. psixiatr doesn't care though - he's delighted!
