Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Grimm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and La Tron Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fear. La Tron Carter will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grimm moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Carter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Carter scores with a sloppy right hand. Grimm should have avoided that one.

Carter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Grimm looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Grimm gets back to half guard.
Grimm regains full guard. Nicely done.

Grimm has his foot on Carter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Carter works his way back into a safe position though.
Carter throws a big right hand that misses.

Grimm is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Carter has his hands clasped together but Grimm extends an breaks Carter's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Grimm.
