Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cory Trevor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riku Ogawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trevor comes to the cage accompanied by Can't Not Be Feelin Dis. Riku Ogawa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ogawa drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Trevor wants to control but Ogawa postures up. Trevor is trying to improve his position. Ogawa is looking to take a break and control but Trevor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Trevor is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ogawa off and has taken his back! Trevor is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Ogawa defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Trevor looking for the choke from the back. Trevor will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ogawa turns into Trevor and is now in his guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ogawa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ogawa slips nicely into half guard. Ogawa missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Trevor gets full guard. Ogawa looking to pass the guard. Trevor is trying to keep Ogawa in close.
Ogawa stands and throws Trevor's legs to the side, diving into side control. Ogawa lands some shots froms side control. Ogawa taking a break here but Trevor is having none of it and regains half guard. Trevor kicks off Ogawa and gets to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trevor lands with a kick to the ribs.
Ogawa feints and as Trevor raises his hands in defense, Ogawa changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Trevor wants to sweep here but Ogawa controlling him for the moment. Trevor trying to control the position.
Ogawa preventing the sweep. Ogawa stands and throws Trevor's legs to the side, diving into side control. Ogawa goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Trevor has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ogawa but great work by Trevor.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trevor is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ogawa has escaped the position, nice work there. Trevor trying to control the position but Ogawa is working away. Trevor is trying to get an arm triangle but Ogawa is defending well. Ogawa tries to improve position but can't. Trevor trying to control the position but Ogawa is working away. Trevor is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ogawa is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Ogawa tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Trevor wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Ogawa strikes from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ogawa throws a shot from downtown. Trevor moves away and avoids it. Trevor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Trevor connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Trevor throws a sloppy head kick and Ogawa moves out of range easily. Trevor gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Ogawa counters with a nice double leg into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ogawa slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Trevor is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Trevor pushes Ogawa off looking to stand but Ogawa dives back in and keeps control.
Trevor is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ogawa scores with a couple of nice shots. Ogawa trying to mount his opponent but Trevor defends it. Trevor moves into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Riku Ogawa dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Trevor shoots and misses and Ogawa counters with a takedown into side control. Trevor manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Ogawa looking for submissions off his back. Ogawa wants to get back to full guard. Trevor trying to control the pace. Ogawa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ogawa is breathing heavily. Ogawa is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Ogawa is in trouble now - Trevor has advanced to mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Trevor is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ogawa to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ogawa shrugs it off. Ogawa is looking to get to half guard. Trevor trying to control but he's not successful this time. Ogawa is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ogawa is squirming around, avoiding Trevor's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Trevor is really struggling to control Ogawa but he's trying to hold on to the position. Ogawa working to try and regain half guard.
Trevor wants to take his opponent's back but Ogawa doesn't allow it. Trevor content just to control the position here. Trevor looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Ogawa is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trevor breaks from Ogawa's wrist control and lands an elbow. Ogawa keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Trevor can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ogawa is looking to escape. Ogawa is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ogawa regains half guard. Ogawa looking for a kimura from the bottom but Trevor passes into side control! Trevor trying to control the action but Ogawa is working from the bottom. Trevor cracks Ogawa with an elbow. That is naaassty. Ogawa gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Trevor is controlling the pace.
Trevor is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Riku Ogawa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
The fight moves into the clinch position. Trevor is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Ogawa is keeping busy. Trevor is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ogawa can't fight it off and eventually Trevor manages to take the fight to the floor. Ogawa looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Trevor trying to control but Ogawa is working from the bottom. Ogawa tries to land a sweep but no joy. Trevor is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Ogawa lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Trevor! Ogawa swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Trevor is now in Ogawa's guard. A big mistake from Ogawa there, giving up the dominant position!
That's one minute gone in the round. Trevor trying to control but Ogawa is working from the bottom. Ogawa takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Trevor tries to free his leg and advance position but Ogawa is retaining full guard. Ogawa pushes a forearm under Trevor's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Trevor is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
