Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Count Mayeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jannik Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hansen has chosen The Jester Race as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Count Mayeda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jannik Hansen! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mayeda moves out of range as Hansen strikes. Mayeda is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Count Mayeda has been cut. Hansen throws a shot from downtown. Mayeda moves away and avoids it. Hansen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hansen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Mayeda in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Hansen looking to finish with strikes here!
Mayeda regains half guard. Hansen missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Hansen not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Mayeda looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Mayeda blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hansen.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hansen wants to work for an arm triangle but Mayeda is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hansen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hansen looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mayeda is trying to get back to full guard. Mayeda looking for submissions off his back. Hansen thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mayeda's head. Mayeda has hold of Hansen's hands but Hansen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hansen passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Mayeda! Hansen landing shots from mount. Hansen working for a guillotine from mount but Mayeda is in no mood to give up. Hansen looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Mayeda slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Hansen lands strikes from half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hansen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mayeda with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Mayeda regains full guard. Nicely done. Mayeda is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hansen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hansen chips away with some ground and pound. Hansen pushing down on Mayeda's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Hansen throwing shots but Mayeda is blocking nicely. Hansen lands strikes from half guard. Hansen missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hansen connects with a nice short shot to Mayeda's temple. Hansen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mayeda is just riding it out for now. Hansen eventually gives up the hold. Mayeda is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hansen scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hansen is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Mayeda blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hansen. Hansen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Mayeda looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hansen scoring with strikes to the body and head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jannik Hansen dominated that round. The cut man is working on Count Mayeda's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hansen shoots in and bounces Mayeda off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Mayeda is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hansen defends well. Hansen stands up over Mayeda, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Hansen cracks Mayeda with a solid left hand. Hansen throws and elbow that misses. Mayeda uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hansen's guard. Nice move by Mayeda! Hansen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mayeda! Hansen dominating with strikes here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Hansen.
Mayeda is rocked! Hansen looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Mayeda covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
