Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brian Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Verson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carver will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Verson wants to clinch up but Carver keeps it at a distance.

Carver throws a lazy right hand but Verson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That was a close round but I would say that Brian Carver will probably get the nod.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Carver looks to land a combination. Verson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Carver throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Verson on the side of the head.
