Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gerald Brill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tre Tanks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brill's entrance music is Do you really want to hurt me. A fine choice. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gerald Brill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tre Tanks! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tanks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brill pinned against the cage. Brill gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Tanks will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Brill doesn't manage to clinch there - Tanks circles away.
Tanks blocks the body kick.
Brill stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Brill wants it to stay on the feet. Gerald Brill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tre Tanks. Tanks shoots for a double leg takedown but Brill sprawls well. He's pushed Tanks's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Brill fakes the leg kick and cracks Tanks in the body. Tanks takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Brill crunches a lovely knee into Tanks's ribcage. With the fighters up against the cage, Brill throws an elbow but misses. Brill pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tanks swats away the attempt to clinch by Brill. Danga de danga de dang - Brill scores with a four punch combination! Brill stuffs the takedown attempt from Tanks. Tanks gets slowly back to his feet. Brill tries a head kick but it misses.

Tre Tanks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tanks fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brill avoids it really well and circles away. Tanks chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Brill can pounce on him.

Horrible takedown by Tanks or perhaps it was just good defense by Brill which made him look bad. Brill throws a head kick that Tanks semi-blocks.
Brill lands with a slapping head kick. Tanks takes a shot right to the bread basket. Brill misses the shot to the body. Brill bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Brill ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tanks moves away. Tanks has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Brill. Brill misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gerald Brill is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tanks shoots in for a takedown but Brill shows good takedown defense. Tanks shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brill's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tanks pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brill is keeping the position for now. Tanks wants to control from the top but Brill keeps moving. Tanks drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Brill manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tanks has Brill in his guard. Tanks can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brill controls the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tanks is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Tanks has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Brill has passed into side control.
Brill gets to mount! Tanks was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Tanks tries to lock up and control but Brill gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Tanks is working to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Brill gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Brill cracks the inside of Tanks's front leg. No luck for Tanks with that takedown attempt. Brill lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Brill chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tanks. Tanks ducks right into an uppercut from Brill. Gerald Brill is winning the standup battle so far. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brill throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Tanks takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Tanks closes this distance looking for a takedown but Brill circles away. Tanks shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brill as he avoids it easily. Brill looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Brill stuffs the takedown attempt from Tanks. Tanks gets slowly back to his feet. Brill tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tanks paws at him with a jab and circles away. Brill lands with a kick to the temple. Tanks shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Tanks misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Tanks changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brill tries to avoid it but Tanks manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brill to the ground. Brill escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Brill scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brill clinches up with Tanks and pushes him back against the cage. Tanks is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Brill has Tanks pressed against the cage.

Tanks shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brill but Brill pushes him off and we're back to square one. Brill lands a high kick!

Tre Tanks has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tanks tries to score a body lock takedown but Brill shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Tanks takes a knee right on the jaw!
Brill lands a body shot. Brill pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tanks shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Brill tries to hold on but Tanks pushes him away. Tanks is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Brill has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Brill!
And that's the end of the fight! Gerald Brill showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Brill, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
