Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darius Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emilio Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martinez has chosen Nicky Jam - La Gata as his entrance music. The key to victory for Darius Johnson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson misses with a series of wild punches.
Martinez shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Johnson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Johnson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Martinez is controlling him well.
Check out the look on Martinez's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Johnson wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Martinez scores with a couple of short elbows.
Martinez tries to advance to mount but can't.

Johnson tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Martinez thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Johnson is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Johnson is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Martinez looking to control but Johnson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Martinez lands a big shot there that rocks Johnson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Johnson is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Martinez goes for an armbar but Johnson turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Johnson.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Johnson wants to stand and escape but instead Martinez has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Martinez works over Johnson with some ground and pound from guard.
Johnson is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Martinez dives into side control.
Martinez lands a nice forearm strike.

Johnson tries to escape but Martinez is in control.
Johnson dodges the ground and pound from Martinez.
Johnson is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Johnson is breathing heavily.
Johnson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Martinez landing strikes.
Martinez remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Martinez has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Johnson!
You get the feeling that Johnson really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Martinez trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Martinez has control of Johnson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Johnson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Martinez looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Martinez wants to control the pace but Johnson is squirming around nicely.
