The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Vukovic darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Vukovic is pressing down on Gibson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gibson is holding on for now.
Vukovic is looking for a kimura but Gibson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Vukovic to get the leverage.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Vukovic lands a nice short elbow.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Frank Vukovic dominated that round.
That's time! Gibson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Vukovic gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Vukovic has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Gibson doesn't defend quickly enough and Vukovic has managed to lock this one up! Can Gibson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Vukovic on a fantastic submission victory.
