Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lighting moves into the clinch successfully.
Lighting looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Lighting is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Soto pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Lighting throws a head punch that misses.
Lighting is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Nice body punch from Soto - that landed with a thud.
Lighting wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Soto has him pressed against the cage.
Lighting fails to pull the fight into his guard.
John Soto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Lighting.
Lighting wants a takedown but no success here.
Soto presses Lighting against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Lighting is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Soto has hold of one of Lighting's legs. Lighting is fighting the takedown attempt but Soto gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Lighting is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Soto stands and steps away. Lighting gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Soto shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Soto showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Soto tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lighting knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Soto is thwarting Lighting's attempts to control the position.
Lighting slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Lighting has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Soto doesn't defend quickly enough and Lighting has managed to lock this one up! Can Soto escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Lighting on a fantastic submission victory.
