The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rothstein on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Andersson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rothstein moves away from the strike by Andersson.
Andersson lands a head shot.
Rothstein bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Andersson connects with a jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Rothstein misses the target.
Andersson misses with a wild combination.
Rothstein swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Andersson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
The fighters circle momentarily. Andersson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rothstein throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Rothstein shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Andersson as he avoids it easily.
Andersson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Andersson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rothstein keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Andersson.
Andersson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rothstein. Rothstein circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Al Rothstein has been cut.
Rothstein looks gassed!

Rothstein takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Andersson lands a jab.

Andersson jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A lazy left from Andersson finds it's target.
Rothstein throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Andersson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nice straight punches there by Andersson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Andersson.
Rothstein is rocked!
Andersson walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Rothstein drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Andersson swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Rothstein's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Per Andersson!
